I have to tell you, the CSS that drives this software is not pretty. And in order to make some improvements to the user interface, I had to basically rewrite the the main stylesheet from scratch.

But now that I've done that (and reduced the size of global.css measurably in the process), it's a whole lot easier to tweak things. Which I have done somewhat already.

Yeah - any chance you could send your css my way?

I'd love to see how you cleaned it up. CSS is, obviously, not my strong-suit.

I'm about to create myself a neat little design for my own upcomming Vanilla forum so if your custom made global.css file is easier to tweak I wouldn't mind getting it before I get to work ;)

Any chance you can send it to me?

Hopefully you guys check your email and used a working one. If not, just grab the CSS right off my server:

The e-mail got through, but that's just embarrassing that I didn't think of just taking yours ;)

I'll take a look at it soon.

Viewing, editing live, and saving the stylesheet(s) for any Web page is easy with Firefox and the Web Developer Extension.

Note that editing live is great for testing and trying things, but you can't actually apply changes to a remote site's CSS files. You can however grab the contents by copy-and-paste.
